Blankies & Blessings provides handmade fleece blankets and handwritten messages of encouragement to senior adults in our community. We work to reduce social isolation, strengthen intergenerational bonds, and bring dignity and warmth to seniors who need it most.

why?
Inspired by her experience making handmade fleece blankets for cancer patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Addi wanted to bring that same warmth and comfort to another community. As she grew to love the senior population through art classes with her grandmother at her retirement community, she realized handmade blankets could brighten their spirits, too. Since then, Addi has grown her nonprofit to deliver comfort to senior communities across Atlanta, showing them that they are cared for and significant.
